The Plan of Happiness

Play the words to the song: "I Will Follow Gods Plan For me"

1. "My life is a gift; my life has a plan.
   My life has a purpose; in he
   av'n it began.
   My choice was to come to this lovely home on earth
   And seek for God's light to direct me from birth.
   I will follow God's plan for me,
   Holding fast to his word and his love.
   I will work, and I will pray;
   I will always walk in his way.
   Then I will be happy on earth
   And in my home above."
   2. Ask family what stood out to them in this song.  
   3. Explain that we are going to learn more about this song.  
   4. Explain that our Heavenly Father wants us to be happy.  He has a plan for us to be happy in this life and to return to live with him again, just like the song says.
   5. Show them the plan of Salvation.  (This was the same exact visual aid mom showed to people on her mission).  Review each piece. (Pre-mortal life, veil, Earth, Death, Spirit World, Resurrection, Judgement, Celestial, Terrestrial, Telestial Kingdoms) Put the plan of happiness together.
   6. Then mix it up and ask if someone would like to try to put it back together in the right order.
   7. Emphasize families, that this time on earth life was given to us to be in families, to learn to make good decisions, and follow Jesus.  If we do these things we can return and live with Heavenly Father, Jesus, and our families forever.
